The much anticipated exhibition of Grace Kelly's personal belongings including fashionable dresses, letters, photos and home movies is now open at Doylestown's Michener Museum. Prince Albert of Monaco and Princess Charlene were among the distinguished guests who attended the gala event celebrating the opening the Exhibition on Saturday. All of the items in the exhibit came from the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, the cultural arm of the palace, and the exhibit has come to Doylestown from the McCord Museum in Montreal.
We were honored to have been chosen to be the caterers for the event. The meal for the event included a selection of passed hors d'oeuvres, a plated first course, an inspired entree, and dessert fit for royalty! For the complete menu click here. "Traditional elements of formality--the gold damask linens, china, centerpieces--along with three sculptural fringe chandeliers to pay tribute to the gorgeous modern room."- Rusty Thomas
"I selected yellow "Deja Vu" tea roses along with "Babe" spray roses for two reasons--#1 yellow represents friendship between the US and Monaco, and #2, that color pops against all of the glass and stone." - Rusty Thomas, Event Designer
